Business Development Manager – Iconic Winery with UK Office

A rare and highly coveted role to work for one of the most respected and admired wineries in the world.

We are looking for a highly professional, compassionate and commercially minded wine specialist to join the UK office of this iconic wine.

Ideally a background in sales with a focus on prestige and luxury. The role will be to be the link between their UK agency and the winery by supporting and driving sales across the UK. In time there will also be the opportunity to take on other accounts in key export markets in Europe.

This is a small team of very passionate people and you will report directly to the head of the UK business and work closely together. The role involves travel to meet with the  various sales teams of your UK agent, also to discover and introduce new accounts to them that will want to sell these amazing wines.

Also a key part of this role will be consumer facing and require you to host private events with both current, loyal customers and to enthuse and entice news ones too.

A background in wine sales and marketing will be essential along with excellent product knowledge credential so you can talk with confidence about the uniqueness and joy these wine have brought to so many over the years….

 

Base Salary Range: £40-60k (plus annual discretionary bonus)

Remote Based but with time spent at the office in the East of England

Regular travel is part of the job and you must have your own car
